Smiles for Charity!

February 1, 2020

As a new decade unfolds, new opportunities and more blessings abound. There is so much to smile about, and Marion Smile Center is leading the way for a more beautiful and healthy future for others locally and internationally.

Our dentist, dental hygienists, and staff here at the Marion Smile Center enjoy doing good for others. Here are some of our charitable plans for 2020 and how you can take part in them.

Dental Care for Everyone

The health of our teeth and gums affects our overall health, so we should take our dental health seriously. A dental hygienist can uncover issues lying behind your pearly whites during a routine cleaning, and the dentist can then perform a checkup. However, many people cannot afford to go to a dentist for a dental checkup or get a professional dental cleaning.

With this in mind, Dr. Mark Marion and his team of highly qualified dental professionals decided to create more opportunities for people to smile. This plan was achieved by partnering with the Smiles for Life Foundation and starting the Whitening for Charity campaign.

Whitening for Charity and Our Community: You Whiten, We Donate 100%!

The Whitening for Charity campaign started back in 2016. To date, we have raised over $55,000 for charity. Each year, a worthy charity receives four months’ worth of all proceeds from our teeth whitening services. This is made possible by Opalescence Tooth Whitening Systems, one of the institutions powering the Smiles for Life Foundation.

Opalescence provides four months’ worth of whitening products to us for FREE, and the dental specialists here at Marion Smile Center in turn provide our dental whitening services for FREE. As a result, this collaboration gives 100% of teeth whitening proceeds to charity.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the cause, because the Whitening for Charity campaign has become an annual success. Last year, we raised over $16,000 for two charity organizations: the Smiles for Life Foundation and our local fire department, Harmony Fire District #22. Every year, we achieve something that improves our community and our world.

Marion Smile Center Humanitarin Trip

Dr. Marion is genuinely passionate about contributing to the community and beyond. This year, the goal is far beyond Greater Pittsburgh: Our team will go to a 3rd world country on a humanitarian dental mission trip.

Our team will work at a dental clinic and provide dental care for free. Through this mission, underprivileged children will gain a chance to free and dedicated dental healthcare.

Bright Smiles at Marion Smile Center

The Whitening for Charity campaign is our way of doing good so more and more people around the world can have a chance at a happier, healthier smile. At Marion Smile Center, whitening your teeth not only makes your smile shine brighter – it also makes the world a better place.

To take part in this fantastic journey and gain a stellar smile and excellent oral health, schedule a whitening consultation with our professional dental staff anytime before the end of April 2020. The Marion Smile Center has a golden reputation over the years, with accolades from national dental peers and the Pittsburgh community.

If you would like to schedule an appointment with Dr. Marion, contact us now by calling us at (724) 452-4300. You can also request an appointment online now.
